Terms of Service

1. About SuitWin Recovery
SuitWin Recovery is a claim recovery company, not a law firm. We fund claims against Chinese counterparties by advancing attorney fees, and we earn a share only when funds are recovered.
Legal services in connection with funded claims are provided by licensed Chinese attorneys from our partner law firms under separate engagement agreements governed by Chinese law.
2. Nature of This Website
The content on this Site — including articles, case studies, FAQs, and fee descriptions — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship or any other client relationship.
Your specific circumstances require individual evaluation. Do not act or refrain from acting based on this Site’s content without a written case evaluation.
3. Case Studies and Testimonials
Published cases are real matters handled under our funding arrangements and are published with client consent or in fully anonymized form. Names are abbreviated (e.g., “J.W.”), and identifying details are removed.
Outcomes described are specific to those cases and do not guarantee similar results in any other matter. Figures are stated as of the dates of the relevant awards or settlements.
4. Fee Information
Fee descriptions on this Site, including “$0 attorney’s fees”, “20–35% of recovery”, and third-party cost estimates, are general descriptions of our standard model.
The terms applicable to your matter are set out in the written funding agreement and fee quote provided after your case evaluation. Actual terms and costs may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
5. No Warranty
While we work to keep the Site’s content accurate and current, legal procedures, court practices, fee schedules, and regulations in China may change. Content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing on this Site obligates us to accept or fund any claim. We decline a substantial portion of the cases we evaluate.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including articles, designs, and logos, is the property of SuitWin Recovery or its licensors.
You may freely share links to our articles. Reproduction of substantial portions of our content requires our prior written permission, except as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SuitWin Recovery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
Disputes arising from the use of this Site shall be submitted to the China Yulin Arbitration Commission for arbitration. The parties agree that the Chairman of the Yulin Arbitration Commission shall appoint the arbitrator.
The parties agree to refer the matter to the Yulin Arbitration Commission for online arbitration in accordance with the Commission’s online arbitration rules in force at the time the arbitration application is submitted, with proceedings conducted in writing.
The parties agree that proceedings may commence upon registration of the case without being subject to time limits for submitting a statement of defence or presenting evidence, and accept the Commission’s scale of arbitration fees and its policies on fee reductions and exemptions.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this Site with an updated revision date. Any legal effect of continued use following an update is subject to applicable law.
